Catching up with some of our apprentices for this year's National Apprenticeship Week

To celebrate National Apprenticeship Week, we caught up with some of our apprentices' across the practice to hear about their experience so far.
At AHR, we embrace a culture that values knowledge sharing, consistently supporting our colleagues with life-long learning, progression and collaboration and are proud to support routes to employment via different routes.
Through the apprenticeships we offer, we provide a gateway for people to embark on meaningful career journeys, supporting them with the skills and knowledge to thrive in their chosen fields.
We caught up with apprentices from our Manchester, Huddersfield and Shrewsbury offices, each at unique stages in their journeys. Explore their perspectives as they reveal the highlights of their experiences and what the future may bring.
Meet Jonathan
Jonathan Goldby is a Level 6 degree architectural assistant currently working at our Shrewsbury office.
Since joining the practice last year, Jonathan has enjoyed immersing himself in a number of exciting projects and further developing his skillset.

Introducing Eva and Elisha
Eva Kilpatrick and Elisha Bergin are architectural assistant Level 7 apprentices working at our Manchester office.
The pair not only work alongside each other but also share a home in Manchester city centre, a friendship they have developed since starting their apprenticeships.

Catch up with Matthew
Modeller apprentice Matthew Mear joined us in March 2021 to undertake his design and drafting apprenticeship.
Having recently attained his drone flying license, Matthew shares his enthusiasm for increasing on-site visits and getting stuck into his work.
