We're delighted that plans have been submitted for a new sustainable housing development aimed at addressing the housing shortage in Bristol.

The brownfield site on Hope Road, which has been vacant for several years, will be revitalised and creatively repurposed with a mix of one and two-bedroom 100% dual aspect apartments available for private sale. These homes will be accessed via shared balcony walkways, within a building that ranges from three to seven storeys.

Our design carefully considers the site’s surroundings, placing the taller sections of the building further away from neighbouring homes to reduce the impact on the local community.

To promote resident wellbeing, each home will feature private outdoor spaces, such as balconies or terraces.

I’m thrilled to see this transformative development on Hope Road taking shape. Breathing new life into a long-vacant site, we’ve designed a sustainable housing scheme that not only addresses Bristol’s housing shortage but also prioritises community harmony and resident wellbeing.”

A green development

Key to our design is the inclusion of environmentally conscious features that align with the broader push for greener urban living.

Photovoltaic panels, air source heat pumps and high levels of insulation will all be integral components of the development.

In addition, the project will encourage residents to adopt more sustainable modes of transport by providing ample cycle storage and maintaining a mostly car-free environment.

We believe in comfortable homes for all and we shape places with people at the heart, where individuals and communities can thrive. Discover more here.
