Today, Thursday, 6th February, our Director, Gary Overton, is presenting at the Education Estates SEND Conference, highlighting our work on the Silverwood SEND School project.

Silverwood School is designed to accommodate 350 students, from nursery to post-16, with moderate to complex needs. Its bespoke learning environment is thoughtfully tailored to support each student’s individual educational journey. The design’s user-centred approach prioritises physical, sensory and cognitive inclusivity, removing access barriers to ensure the safety, comfort and wellbeing of students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

Our Associate Director, Matthew Colclough, is also attending the conference. Both Gary and Matthew are looking forward to sharing their expertise and experiences, and to connect with fellow professionals dedicated to advancing SEND education.

For those unable to attend or who missed the presentation, you can learn more about the Silverwood SEND School on our project page.

With decades of experience, we’ve developed an exceptional understanding of designing SEND schools and inclusive spaces both within mainstream schools and standalone, creating environments that support every child’s unique needs and potential. Discover more here.
