We're delighted to have been recognised for this award, nominated in the nursery to sixth form category, showcasing our commitment to shaping safe, comfortable and fulfilling learning spaces for all.

At our practice, we understand that the nature of education is constantly evolving, and so are the diverse needs of schools, students and staff.

That’s why our designs go beyond traditional classrooms and include fitness and wellbeing areas, relaxing communal spaces, and pastoral care facilities, all with safeguarding in mind.

Our portfolio spans decades, creating inspirational, sustainable learning environments from nursery and early years to primary and secondary schools, sixth form colleges and further education, free schools and academies, all across the UK.

Shaping inclusive spaces for all

We are committed to designing inclusive spaces that meet the unique needs of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) students, ensuring accessibility and support for diverse learning requirements.

The net zero carbon, Silverwood SEND School in Wiltshire encompasses just this, designed to meet the needs of a wide range of students and abilities including those with moderate or severe learning difficulties, those on the autistic spectrum, as well as those with physical disabilities or with profound and multiple learning needs.

The future of sustainable school design

Sustainability is at the heart of what we do. We are dedicated to creating eco-friendly spaces that set new standards for environmental responsibility, including net zero carbon and Passivhaus design. All while promoting a sustainable future for generations to come.

Did you know that we’ve recently completed the UK’s largest Passivhaus education project in Fife? Woodmill and St Columba’s RC High School is our groundbreaking scheme setting a new benchmark in sustainable school design.

We’re so pleased to be recognised in this category and are excited to share this achievement with our talented education team, who have worked incredibly hard to make this happen.
