Anthony Langan, managing director of architecture, is passionate about creating the right environment for everyone to flourish. He empowers our people, nurtures their talents, and champions collaboration and innovation across AHR.

Driven to develop the practice, Tony spends much of his time working alongside the talented team of directors who lead our 9 UK offices. Supported by the practices functional management to drive collaborative working and best practice, through clear lines of communication to ensure that AHR always delivers excellent quality projects that expertly address our clients’ needs.
As the previous education sector lead, Tony’s specialist knowledge lies here. With experience both internationally and in the UK, he has spent his career developing learning spaces that improve the life opportunities for young people and is still involved in seeing projects through from concept design to completion.
Outside the office, Tony enjoys immersing himself in all kinds of sports, including football and cricket, and is also a qualified skipper. He delights in being able to bring his teambuilding skills to his day to day role to foster an inclusive and healthy workplace.
