Associate Karl Potter has enjoyed a prosperous career at AHR spanning over 40 years at our Birmingham office.
Every project provides an opportunity to shape a lasting impact across various sectors, and I thoroughly enjoy providing the expertise and support to bring these places to life.
Karl is an experienced architectural technologist who has contributed to a range of exciting projects across multiple sectors, including healthcare, civic and community, residential and office and workplace.
He relishes the opportunity to deliver effective and sustainable solutions for numerous projects across the midlands and beyond. Notably, he was involved in the sensitive redevelopment of a prominent Victorian building in Birmingham, repurposing it into a Grade A office space.
His contributions to the practice encompass providing technical support and assistance on various projects, including design, detailing and contract administration. Amongst his skills is the ability to share his widespread knowledge and support to his colleagues in Birmingham and Shrewsbury.
Karl’s passions extend through all aspects of his life, from being a lifelong football and athletics enthusiast who participates in fantasy football leagues with friends and colleagues, to enjoying time in his garden, where he’s planning a mini wildflower meadow. At home, he appreciates time with his two pet cats, Bertie and Elliot, who occupy any other free moments he has.
