Associate director Katy Bruce, based in our Bristol office, has spent over 18 years at the practice providing her extensive knowledge and experience in the delivery of complex projects.
“I take great satisfaction in maintaining high standards in our delivery process and working alongside a talented group of people to do so.”
Throughout her career, Katy has worked on many notable projects from multiple sectors, including schools and colleges, technology and industrial, civic and community and residential. Her focus remains on the delivery phase of projects, ensuring each is delivered to a standard that meets and exceeds her clients’ aspirations.
Often taking the role of technical lead, Katy’s expertise lies in providing innovative solutions to projects with technical issues. She is methodical in her approach and has the exceptional ability to understand and interpret complex briefs. An ability that is supported by her aptitude for relationship building; engaging with her clients to better understand their needs and who, in turn, trust her to deliver high-quality projects.
Katy is known throughout the practice for her friendly nature and approachability. She particularly enjoys supporting our junior members, helping them to develop their careers and increase their learning and experiences.
Much of her time outside of work is dedicated to her growing family. In between, she is also in the process of developing her own house alongside her husband, trying her hand at DIY.
