Architect and associate director Robin Dixon has worked in our Leeds office for over 20 years. As a highly skilled designer, he is dedicated to delivering the very best for the people he works with, producing schemes that are efficient, affordable, and valuable, whilst never losing sight of their initial vision.
“I most enjoy working with people. It’s great when clients return for repeat work as I can develop meaningful relationships with people and deliver exactly what they had hoped for.”
Throughout his professional life, Robin has gained valuable experience working across a range of sectors, including transport, retail, and civic and community. His specialism lies in education, where he has delivered several notable projects, ranging in scale and complexity. Robin takes great satisfaction in seeing how a considerate design can change the lives of people, by delivering better educational outcomes and increasing the life opportunities for young people. He is particularly proud of his involvement in the redesign of his former primary school and seeing how his contribution has enabled the school to grow from strength to strength and better support pupils in their early development.
In his free time, Robin enjoys a slower pace of life, though not to a complete halt, having a keen interest in Formula 1. He also enjoys keeping active, namely cycling, and spending time with his family.
