Fife Nurseries
Fife, UK
Project overview
Fun, safe learning spaces delivered with minimal cost, quicker
As part of Fife Council’s ‘exemplar’ early year provision, we have designed three new nurseries; Lochgelly Nursery, Pitcorthie Nursery and Halbeath Nursery. With flexible, multifunctional spaces and open playrooms, each nursery is happy, fun and welcoming, whilst being a safe environment for young children.
We have developed a Modern Methods of Construction solution using a kit of parts design. This approach ensures that each nursery complies with space requirements and planning adjacencies. It also means that Fife Council can replicate the successful design, with minimal cost, quicker.
The nurseries are part of Fife Council’s wider objectives, to provide future proof, adaptable learning spaces for the next generation of the community.
