project overview
A cutting-edge workspace to support technology-leading business
Following the win of a successful design competition, we delivered the multi-functional, SEW Eurodrive UK headquarters office building with warehouse facilities to suit the diverse range of needs the drive engineering business requires.
The building is innovative in its design, with the office and warehouse facility connecting through a shared atrium. This ensures the smooth operations between both functions as well as providing a social space for people, promoting interaction and a greater sense of togetherness.
Efficient renewable technologies were a high priority in creating an environmentally friendly building. Photovoltaic and solar thermal panels and air source heat pumps are integrated into the design, helping to reduce carbon emissions, running and maintenance costs and of course, making it fit for the future.
The environmentally responsible project also takes advantage of plenty of natural daylight which flows throughout the building. This helps to boost employee productivity, reduce tiredness and improve their wellbeing as they work.
